Catherine Waithe-Arnold is a freelance composer of contemporary orchestral music, peripatetic music teacher (my most popular lessons are Alto Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet in Bb & Harp click here for more info) photographer and sketch artist based in the UK.
Utilizing her skills and experience, Catherine has provided her clients with a variety of original music from contemporary orchestral arrangements for pop songs to bespoke wedding music for walking down the aisle!
Qualifications include: BA (Hons) Popular Music and Record Production – First Class – from Southampton Solent University and Master of Music in Music Composition – Pass – from the University of Southampton. Catherine is also currently undertaking a PhD in music that is a dual supervision by both the Theology and Music departments at Canterbury Christ Church University, a Church of England university in Kent.
Catherine’s compositions have been performed in a World Premier Composition’s concert at the Turner Sims concert hall, churches in London, her Christian Union when she attended Southampton Solent University and also featured in a music competition in Essex.
In her spare time Catherine enjoys sketching, composing, playing her (many) instruments, researching feminism and political theology and taking photographs of the natural beauty all around her!…Oh and updating her blog (hehe).
